Job Summary: A Business Development

Representative (BDR) is responsible developing sales

prospects for the Fastpak sales team. This exciting role

involves identifying, approaching and setting appointments with

qualified industrial packaging leads in the Atlanta area. A Fastpak

Territory Sales Representatives (TSR) will then take over

to build the sale and convert the prospect to a Fastpak

account. The BDR may participate in those related sales

activities as desired and / or required. The job involves no

overnight travel, and has a good mix of work both inside the

Fastpak offices, as well as outside in the territory. Fastpak

provides world class skill and product training needed to be

successful.

Career Track: The BDR position offers the

option of remaining in the BDR role indefinitely, or transitioning

into a Territory Sales Representative role.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Use Fastpak's sales process to identify leads and

convert them into prospects

Be willing to learn the industrial packaging industry

and local market.

Be willing to learn Fastpak's product / service

offering and communicate its benefits to leads.

Provide sales call activity reporting, and pipeline

activity reporting via Fastpak's CRM System.

Understand Fastpak's processes, policies and

operating procedures.

BDR will possess high values of the following traits: Positive

attitude, competitive, self-starter / self motivated, plans &

strategizes, motivated by money, persistent, advisor /

consultative, coachable and achievement focused

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS degree) from a

four year college or university; one or two years related sales

experience and/or equivalent combination of education and

experience.

Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Proficient with MS Excel and Word.

Ability to work independently in the office or at

home.

Willingness to work as a team player with other

Fastpak employees.

Compensation: A comprehensive package

includes: competitive salary base, commission based on a

gross profit split on all closed accounts, bonuses, expense & phone

allowance, medical & retirement benefits, paid vacation & sick

time, etc.
